Mate Yehuda Food Festival

The Mateh Yehuda Region Celebrates 25 Years of the Rural Food Festival

The Mateh Yehuda Rural Food Festival, a landmark event in Israeli cuisine, is celebrating its 25th anniversary. What started as a local tradition has grown into a leading brand that connects our agricultural roots with high-quality local produce. The festival also brings together entrepreneurs who work out of love for the countryside, the land, and food.

Mateh Yehuda, the green heart of Israel, is home to Israeli rural cuisine, where tradition meets innovation to create a unique experience. Israel's first wine region is located here, amidst spectacular landscapes, and continues to attract visitors from all over the country throughout the seasons.

The 25th Food Festival is a celebration of taste, color, culture, and community – a story of people and their journey. It's a culinary journey between East and West, between our roots and traditions and the new path we are paving together. 25 years of flavors, inspiration, and development.

The festival will open on March 13th and will take place over three weekends (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) until March 29th. In the spring, the entire region is covered with blossoms, creating a perfect backdrop for the festival's culinary experiences. To mark the 25th anniversary, the festival is expanding and offering new attractions alongside the established culinary highlights.
