Buses

  • Buses : public buses are your best bet for getting around, as they are an affordable option with extensive networks connecting major towns. They are operated by Egged and a number of small companies. With affordable Fares that can be paid using the Rav-Kav smartcard. Downloading a travel app like Moovit provides real-time bus information and directions in English.

  • Cons: They do have, limited schedules, especially on weekends and holidays. Stops can be far from attractions, requiring additional walking or taxis. Information and announcements might be primarily in Hebrew.

Taxis
